With installations across Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, our pallet manufacturing equipment helps businesses maximize output while cutting labor costs. Every pallet meets EPAL specifications for dimensions, nail patterns, and branding.
What is a European wooden pallet production line?
A European wooden pallet production line manufactures EUR pallets (Euro pallets) that follow strict EPAL standards: 1200x800x144mm with precise construction requirements set by the European Pallet Association.
Unlike compressed wood pallet systems that use sawdust and binders, our production line processes solid wood boards and blocks. The result: durable, reusable pallets handling loads up to 2,000kg with four-way forklift entry. Perfect for businesses looking to enter the pallet manufacturing market.

9-machine EPAL pallet production line configuration
Our automated system includes nine specialized machines working in sequence:

CNC material cutting machine
The CNC cutting machine precisely cuts boards to exact EPAL specifications with ±0.5mm accuracy. It processes hardwood (oak, beech) and softwood (pine, spruce) with automatic feeding and stacking.
- Top deck boards: 1200mm x 145mm x 22mm (5 pcs)
- Bottom deck boards: 1200mm x 145mm x 22mm (3 pcs)
- Stringers: 800mm x 145mm x 22mm (3 pcs)
- Blocks: 145mm x 145mm x 78mm (9 pcs)

Pallet stacking machine
The block nailing machine attaches nine bottom blocks to three deck boards using pneumatic nail guns. It features:
- Automatic nail feeding
- Adjustable patterns
- Sensors detecting missing nails or misalignment

Wood pallet nailing machine
The heart of the line—the automatic pallet nailing machine—assembles complete pallets with 81 helical nails in EPAL-specified patterns.
- Multiple nailing heads work simultaneously, achieving 45-60 second cycle times.
- Pneumatic systems drive nails to the correct depth without splitting wood.

Pallet rotary machine
After nailing, the rotary machine rotates pallets 90° for proper branding positioning and corner cutting access.

Pallet branding machine
EPAL requires official branding on each pallet’s central block.
Our branding machine uses heated dies (180-220°C) to permanently mark EUR/EPAL logos, manufacturing codes, and production dates without charring wood.

Pallet corner cutter
The corner cutter chamfers all four corners at 45°, removing ~50mm from each edge.
This enables smooth four-way forklift entry, prevents edge damage, and gives EUR pallets their distinctive appearance.

Pallet flipper
The pallet flipper ensures uniform orientation before stacking.
It checks flatness, removes debris, and diverts warped pallets for rework—maintaining line efficiency.

Automatic palletizer
The automatic palletizer stacks finished EUR pallets in bundles of 10-20 units, applies corner protectors if needed, and wraps stacks with banding or stretch film.

Storage platform
The storage platform buffers finished stacks before quality inspection, inventory counting, or dispatch.
The above 9 machines constitute a complete European-standard wooden pallet production line. The number of machines can be adjusted based on actual operational needs.
